DRIED HYDRANGEAS IN AN ESTATE SALE FIND

I have to thank my sister, Karen for this idea.  She sent me a picture of her drying hydrangeas in one of her fall displays.  You know what they say about copying someone--it is one of the sincerest compliments.  Here goes.

I bought this plant receptacle at an estate sale years ago for a dollar.  I never came up with an idea until now.

I went outside and cut a few of the drying magenta hydrangeas.

I placed them in the planter and proceeded to the bedroom where I placed it on a few vintage books.

These flowers should keep throughout the winter.

What a nice, serene place to curl up and read a good book.
