TERRI'S ANGEL WINGS

Happy Halloween.

Today is the first anniversary of my sister Terri's death.

There hasn't been one day gone by when she hasn't crept into my spirit and made me stop to think about her.  That is not always a bad thing.

Immediately after that date, I didn't feel that I could continue writing the blog.  But I was wrong.  Terri, in her essence, has been with me every step of the way.  Her spirit still speaks to me in a quiet voice.

I found these feathered angel wings a few years ago.  I brought them home and kept them in my drawer.  When September rolled around this year, I got them out and knew that I could place a gentle reminder of our sister Angel in our home.  A small bouquet of baby's breath compliments the pair of wings.

I miss you so much Terri, but through your memories, you have allowed me to carry on.

  2. I miss her too! We still see things that she wrote in the lab and stop to think about her.
She played a big part in organizing and labeling different areas. She would be glad that you are still creating beauty.
I thought of her on Halloween too. Prayers for you and your family.
