GOODWILL SHABBY CHIC VASE/PITCHER

Since setting up my table for tea, I have been trying to keep fresh flowers in a bud vase to keep the table fresh.  This attempt was fruitless.  While out of town last week, I stopped by Jo Ann Fabrics and found 50% off all of their flowers.  I found these cute carnations and thought I could infuse them into the Downton tea setting.

I stopped by Goodwill this morning looking for a vase to spray the mirrored glass look that has become so popular.  Instead, I found this sweet shabby chic vase.

And the front........

She is just a sweet gorgeous shabby pink vase/pitcher.  I decided to take the 50% off flowers from Jo Ann's and display them in the vase.  I like the pop of color that it adds to the vignette.

I like the more permanent flower display that costs a mere $5.00. The look of mismatched china pieces for the tea service looks more quaint for a morning tea.
